Cogs roam around the neighborhood area. For Toons to get into battle with a Cog, the Toon must initiate the first move and come up to the Cog. As the fight begins, the Toon has to use Gags, weapons or tools, to defeat the Cogs. Players need to play mini-games to receive jellybeans, the currency in Toontown, so they can purchase Gags. Players must pay to play in order to defeat the Cogs. After the battle is over and the Cog is destroyed, another cog is regenerated back into the previous Cog’s place. Players are in a never ending cycle of Cogs.
